The Full and Local tiers, the trial, payment, cancellation, and refunds.

Tiers
Remly has two paid tiers. Each is available monthly or yearly, with yearly costing less per month.

Full is the whole product. Local is for people who only want their own machine indexed and do not want to connect cloud sources.
The current price for each tier and billing period is shown on the pricing page and at Stripe Checkout. Prices are not reproduced here so that this page cannot drift out of sync with what you are actually charged.
Trial
New subscribers get a seven-day trial. A card is required to start it, and you are not charged until the trial ends. Cancel before it ends and you are not billed.
The trial is granted when you have no existing subscription record. Once that record exists – including after a cancellation – starting a second trial on the same account is blocked.
How billing works
Checkout runs through Stripe. Afterwards you manage everything from Settings → Billing → Manage subscription, which opens the Stripe Customer Portal. Stripe handles checkout, card updates, invoices, plan changes, and cancellation. Remly does not build its own billing UI on top of it.
If you get through sign-up but your account is not fully provisioned, checkout reconciles it before creating a Stripe session, so a half-finished signup does not leave you unable to pay. If checkout still fails, email team@remly.it rather than creating a second account.
Connections
There is no cap on the number of sources you connect. There are caps on how much content is indexed and how much you can search and ask per day – see usage limits.
Failed payments
Stripe retries automatically. Your account moves to past_due and a banner appears in the app asking you to update your card. Features keep working during the retry window.
Account states

Cancellation
Cancel any time from the Stripe Customer Portal:
- Your subscription flips to
canceledand stays active until the end of the current billing period. - At period end, access locks.
- Your indexed content is retained. Resubscribing restores access to it.
Cancelling is not the same as deleting your account. Cancelling does not schedule a purge on its own; deleting your account is what starts the 30-day clock.
Plan changes
Switch between Full and Local, or between monthly and yearly, from the Stripe Customer Portal. Stripe prorates the change. Moving from Full to Local means cloud connectors stop being available – your local content is unaffected.
Refunds
Cancel whenever you like; your plan runs to the end of the period you already paid for. We do not prorate refunds for partial periods.
If you were charged by mistake, email team@remly.it within 7 days and we will sort it out, provided you have not actively used the product. Background indexing does not count as use.
Data export
Self-service data export is not implemented. The settings entry for it is a stub. See account lifecycle for what you can do today.
Team plan
There is no Team plan. Shared team workspaces and group sharing are planned, not current – Remly is single-user today.
