Index the Dropbox roots and files you select, on the schedule you choose.

Dropbox is one of the connectors you can use today. Remly indexes the folders and files you select so they are searchable alongside your other sources.
Connecting
In the web app, open Connections, click Dropbox, and complete the Dropbox OAuth flow. Remly requests read access. It does not request scopes to write, move, share, or delete your files.
Selection
You choose the roots – folders – Remly should cover, and can narrow to specific files within them. Selecting only what you need keeps sync times down and keeps unrelated content out of your results.
Changing the selection later is fenced: content under a root you removed is cleaned up rather than left in the index as a stale result.
What gets indexed
Remly extracts text from supported document formats and indexes it along with file metadata such as name, path, and modified time. Formats it cannot extract text from are skipped and shown in the Library with an error status, so you can see what was left out rather than silently missing it.
Very large files are skipped before download so they do not consume bandwidth or your indexing allowance.
Sync
Dropbox syncs incrementally: after the first pass, later syncs only pick up what changed. Choose hourly (default), every six hours, daily at a time you set, or manual only.
Permissions
Dropbox content indexed through this connector is personal to your account. It is not shared with anyone else in your organization, and there is no group or team sharing path for it today.
When something goes wrong

| A file never appears in results | Check the Library for an error status on it – it may be an unsupported format or over the size cap. |
| A removed folder still returns results | Run Sync now; cleanup happens on the sync following a selection change. |
| Sync appears stalled | Large first syncs are rate-limited by Dropbox and resume on their own. |
Disconnecting
Connections → Dropbox → Disconnect revokes the grant and immediately and permanently deletes this connector's sources, documents, text chunks, embeddings, and permissions. Your account and every other connector are unaffected, and nothing in Dropbox itself is touched. You can also revoke Remly from your Dropbox account's connected apps settings.
This is not the same as deleting your account, which follows a different path with a 30-day recovery window.
