Index events and meetings, with live retrieval for your current schedule.

Google Calendar is one of the connectors you can use today. It runs in both modes: events are indexed for semantic search, and schedule lookups go live to Google so "what's on my calendar tomorrow" reflects the calendar as it is right now, not as it was at the last sync.
Connecting
In the web app, open Connections, click Google Calendar, and complete the Google OAuth flow. Remly requests read-only access. It cannot create, move, or cancel events, and it cannot invite anyone on your behalf.
Selection
If your Google account has several calendars, you choose which ones Remly covers. Excluding calendars you do not want indexed – a shared team calendar, a subscribed holiday calendar – keeps them out of both search results and Ask answers entirely.
What gets indexed
- Event titles, descriptions, and times
- Attendees and organizer
- Location and conferencing details, where present
- Recurring events, as their scheduled instances
What is fetched live
Schedule questions query Google at request time rather than reading the index, so a meeting moved five minutes ago shows in its new slot. Live retrieval depends on Google being reachable; if it is not, Remly falls back to indexed events, which may be slightly stale.
Sync
Indexed events sync on the schedule you choose: hourly (default), every six hours, daily at a set time, or manual only.
Privacy
Calendar entries reveal who you meet with and when, which is often more sensitive than what any single document contains. Indexed events are searchable, can ground Ask answers, and can be searched and opened by any MCP client you authorise, because there is no per-source limit on MCP access. If a calendar contains material you do not want reachable that way, leave it out of the selection.
Events you cannot see in Google are not indexed for you. Remly reads calendars with your access, not with elevated access.
When something goes wrong

Disconnecting
Connections → Google Calendar → Disconnect revokes the token with Google and deletes the indexed events, embeddings, and metadata. This is irreversible and does not touch anything in Google Calendar. You can also revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
