Index issues and comments from the Atlassian sites and projects you select.

Jira is one of the connectors you can use today. Issues and their comments are indexed for semantic search and can ground Ask answers.
Connecting
In the web app, open Connections, click Jira, and complete the Atlassian OAuth flow. Remly requests read access to issues and comments. It does not request scopes to create, transition, or delete issues.
The connection is owned by the Atlassian account that authorizes it, and Remly sees only what that account can see.
Selection
Jira connects in two steps:
- Pick a site. If your Atlassian account has access to more than one site, you choose which one Remly connects to.
- Pick projects. Within that site, you select the projects to index. Selecting fewer projects means faster syncs and less irrelevant content in results.
Changing your project selection later is fenced, so issues from a project you removed are cleaned up rather than left behind as stale results.

- Issue summaries and descriptions
- Issue comments
- Issue metadata used for filtering and ranking, such as project, status, and update time
Sync
Jira supports real-time sync through webhooks, so new issues, edits, and comments are picked up as they happen. Incremental syncs backfill anything webhooks missed. Hourly, six-hourly, daily, and manual schedules are also available.
Permissions
Remly snapshots access at index time and filters results at query time. Projects and issues your Atlassian account cannot see are not indexed for you. Permission changes in Jira take effect in Remly on the next sync.
When something goes wrong

| A project's issues are missing | Confirm the project is selected and the authorizing account has access to it. |
| Wrong site connected | Disconnect and reconnect, choosing the correct site during setup. |
| New issues are not appearing | Check last sync time and run Sync now; webhook delivery may have been interrupted. |
Disconnecting
Connections → Jira → Disconnect revokes the grant and immediately and permanently deletes this connector's sources, documents, text chunks, embeddings, and permissions. Your account and every other connector are unaffected, and nothing in Jira itself is touched. You can also revoke Remly from your Atlassian account settings.
This is not the same as deleting your account, which follows a different path with a 30-day recovery window.
